Welcome to Lesson Package!
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lesson Package website and services ("Service"). Lesson Package is a product and service provided by Unattached Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.
1. Description of Service
Lesson Package is an AI-powered platform designed for K–6 teachers to create educational materials including worksheets, quizzes, stories, homework, exit tickets, and other lesson resources. Our Service allows teachers to generate grade-appropriate, standards-aligned materials across K–6 subjects (ELA, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, PE/Health, Seasonal, and ESL).
2. Account Registration and Eligibility
2.1 To use our Service, you must create an account. You may register using your email address (via magic link) or through Google OAuth authentication.
2.2 To use Lesson Package, you must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you must obtain permission from a parent or legal guardian and may only use the Service under their supervision.
2.3 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
2.4 You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.
3. Service Usage and License
3.1 Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our Service.
3.2 You own all materials you create using our Service and may download, print, share, and use them for any lawful purpose, including classroom use, school communications, and other professional or personal uses, provided you comply with these Terms and applicable laws.
3.3 You may not:
Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service itself, or offer the Service on a white-label or competing basis.
Misrepresent materials generated through the Service as being created or endorsed by Lesson Package, Canva, or any third party.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of our Service.
Use automated systems or bots to access or use our Service.
Share your account credentials with others.
4. Google Services Integration
4.1 Our Service integrates with Google Drive and Google Classroom. By using these features, you agree to comply with Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
4.2 We request access to your Google Drive and Google Classroom accounts solely for the purpose of saving and assigning materials you create through our Service.
4.3 You may revoke our access to your Google account at any time through your Google account settings.
5. Canva Integration
5.1 Our Service offers an integration with Canva that allows you to export lesson materials directly to your Canva account for further editing and design (the "Canva Integration"). To use this feature, you must have your own Canva account.
5.2 By using the Canva Integration, you agree to comply with Canva's applicable terms and policies, including Canva's Terms of Use.
5.3 We do not store your Canva account credentials or access your Canva content. The integration uses Canva's secure authentication and only sends files you explicitly choose to export.
5.4 Exported materials become your content in Canva, subject to Canva's content licensing and ownership policies. We do not claim any rights to materials you create or edit in Canva.
5.5 You may not use the Canva Integration to resell, redistribute, or commercially license Canva's assets (such as templates or stock media) as standalone items.
6. AI-Generated Content
6.1 Materials generated through our Service are created using artificial intelligence. While we strive to provide accurate, grade-appropriate, and standards-aligned content, you are responsible for reviewing and verifying all materials before use in your classroom.
6.2 We do not guarantee that AI-generated materials will be error-free or meet all specific curriculum requirements. You should review and adapt materials as needed for your students.
7. User Content and Ownership
7.1 You retain full ownership, copyright, and all intellectual property rights in all materials you create or upload when using our Service. We do not claim any ownership rights to your creations.
7.2 You grant Lesson Package a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to store, process, and display your materials only as necessary to operate, maintain, and provide the Service to you (for example, to generate, save, and deliver your lesson resources). This license does not allow us to sell, license, or otherwise commercially exploit your materials.
7.3 We do not use your materials to train public AI models or for any purpose beyond providing and improving the Service, unless you give us your explicit consent. Any such consent can be withdrawn at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
7.4 You are solely responsible for the content you create and the materials you generate. You agree not to create or upload materials that:
Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
Infringe on the rights of others.
Contain harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content.
Violate any school or district policies.
8. Payment and Refunds
8.1 Access to our Service may require payment of fees as specified on our pricing page.
8.2 All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors (such as Stripe). We do not store your complete payment card information.
8.3 We offer refunds in accordance with our Refund Policy. All purchases are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. For detailed refund terms and conditions, please see our Refund Policy at https://lessonpackage.com/refund-policy.
8.4 Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, subject to the policies of your payment provider.
9. Privacy and Data Collection
9.1 We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, available at https://lessonpackage.com/privacy-policy.
9.2 We may collect information including but not limited to: name, email address, payment information, Google account information (with your permission), Canva-related metadata (with your permission), and usage data.
9.3 We use cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience and analyze Service usage.
9.4 Lesson Package is designed for use by educators and does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13, in compliance with COPPA. Our Service does not store or process student-identifiable data. Teachers are responsible for:
a) Ensuring that no personally identifiable student information (e.g., names, IDs, grades) is entered into the Service.
b) Complying with FERPA, COPPA, and any applicable school/district data privacy policies when using generated materials.
c) Reviewing and adapting all materials to meet local curriculum standards and student needs.
10. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use our Service:
For any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.
To harm, threaten, or harass others.
To transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
To interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers.
To attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
11. Service Availability and Modifications
11.1 We strive to maintain Service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11.2 We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice.
11.3 We may update, change, or remove features of the Service at our discretion.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LESSON PACKAGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
Lesson Package is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from actions, omissions, or service interruptions of third-party providers, including but not limited to Canva, Google, and payment processors. Lesson Package is not responsible for the functionality or availability of Canva's services after files are exported to your Canva account.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lesson Package, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
15.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
15.2 Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in a location reasonably convenient to both parties or be conducted remotely, where permitted.
16. Changes to Terms
16.1 We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through a notice on our website.
16.2 The "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms will indicate when changes were last made.
16.3 Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
17. Termination
17.1 We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms.
17.2 You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings.
17.3 Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, but materials you have already downloaded will remain accessible to you, subject to these Terms.
18. Third-Party Services
18.1 Our Service integrates with third-party services, including but not limited to Canva, Google Drive, and Google Classroom.
18.2 Your use of any third-party services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Lesson Package is not responsible for the availability, security, or performance of those services.
18.3 We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from actions, omissions, or service interruptions of third-party providers.
19. Educational Use Disclaimer
19.1 While our Service is designed for educational purposes, you are responsible for:
Ensuring that materials are appropriate for your specific students and classroom context.
Complying with all applicable educational laws and regulations, and any school or district policies.
Verifying the accuracy, suitability, and alignment of generated content with your curriculum and standards.
19.2 Lesson Package materials are general educational tools and are not substitutes for professional pedagogical judgment or customized curriculum development.
20. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Unattached Limited regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
22. Company Information
Lesson Package is a product and service provided by Unattached Limited. All references to "Lesson Package", "we", "us", or "our" in these Terms refer to Unattached Limited.
